IUN Q1119 - Casa Marilò is a delightful small house on the hill of Costa Rei, Monte Nai locality. Located in a quiet area, it enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view over a very long stretch of coast. Casa Marilò is suitable to comfortably accommodate 4 people having a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Equipped with double possibility of private parking, it allows access both from the terrace and from an entrance door, in both cases via stairs. From the spectacular terrace equipped with dining area and BBQ you can access the large living area with sofa, TV area, fully equipped kitchen and another dining table. Along the corridor we find on the right the double bedroom and the twin bedroom with bunk beds. Complete the house a bathroom with shower recently renovated. There is air conditioning / dehumidifier / heat pump. Casa Marilò is less than 5 minutes by car from the beach, which can also be reached with a 15/20 minutes walk and is in an ideal position to visit all the wonderful beaches and coves in the area. Casa Marilò is a perfect place for holidays in total relaxation, you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic terrace which at aperitif time offers an unforgettable show but also dine in the numerous restaurants in the area.

A short distance from Casa Marilò you will find an ATM, the well-stocked Market Monte Nai which is part of a small shopping center where you can also find a butcher, fishmonger, tobacconist. In Via Ichnusa there is also a pharmaceutical dispensary.

COSTA REI

Costa Rei is a seaside hamlet belonging to the municipality of Muravera, in the Sarrabus region in south-eastern Sardinia. The tourist resort of Costa Rei extends for about 10 km from the Porto Pirastu area to Cala Sinzias. The spectacular beach of Costa Rei is characterized by a very fine white sand and a crystalline sea with indescribable colors and extends for 8 km from Punta Santa Giusta, where we find the famous Scoglio di Peppino, to the cliff of Capo Ferrato. There are numerous beaches that are worth a visit in this stretch of coast, just to list a few in addition to the aforementioned Scoglio di Peppino we remember Cala Sinzias, Monte Turno, Sant'Elmo, Piscina Rei, Santa Giusta and Cala Pira, but the list is not absolutely exhaustive!

The Costa Rei beach is mostly free but there are also numerous equipped establishments (various price ranges) where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds and have lunch enjoying the sea view. It is immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and gently slopes towards the sea with colors ranging from intense blue to infinite turquoise shades, the sandy and shallow seabed is perfect for children who can swim by the sea without danger, thanks to the waters always calm and manned. The shallow water also makes the water temperature always very pleasant.

The Scoglio di Peppino area is the symbol of Costa Rei, it is a white granite formation in the shape of a whale, 100 meters long and 25 wide, formed by rocks that emerge in the middle of the sand and create natural pools with water that becomes pleasantly warm in the sun and an absolute transparency that allows you to observe the marine fauna of the area, therefore an ideal place for pleasant hours of snorkeling.

Costa Rei does not only offer relaxation, in fact there are many activities that you can do in the area, both sporting (hiking, horseback riding, off-roading, mountain biking, water sports, etc …), both cultural (Saraacen towers, nuraghi, menhirs, domus de janas, Vecchie Carceri) and naturalistic (the Sette Fratelli Park and the Colostrai and Torre Solinas Ponds).

HOW TO GET THERE

Costa Rei can be reached by car, arriving from Cagliari you can take the internal state road 125 or the panoramic coastal road overlooking the sea, the latter certainly much more beautiful from a landscape point of view (however, there are numerous curves and it is very busy in a few hours of the weekend). The travel time is approximately one hour (65 km).
